A Relaxed and Meaningful day at City Chambers
C&C knew exactly how they wanted to celebrate their wedding day: relaxed, deeply personal, and joyful in every moment. No pressure. No rush. Just time to enjoy the small, meaningful moments in their own way, surrounded by the people they love, laughter, hugs, and honest emotions filled every corner of the day. It was a celebration that felt true to who they are, and it was an absolute pleasure for us to document the story of such authentic souls.
From Calm Beginnings to Edinburgh’s Historic Streets
The day began in a beautiful, elegant apartment near the Writers Museum, where the couple prepared in calm and comfort, letting the morning unfold naturally. She got ready with the loving support of her mother and sister, while he shared a quiet moment with his brother before heading out. Moments like these: gentle, simple, and sincere , set the tone for the whole day.
They made their way to the European Room at Edinburgh City Chambers for their ceremony, a stunning historic space lined with rich paintings and character that brought the right amount of elegance without losing intimacy. Friends and family gathered to welcome them, the atmosphere brimming with excitement and joy as guests celebrated the beauty of the moment.
Tears, laughter, and heartfelt vows filled the room , including a beautiful poem read by one of their closest friends, adding a deeply personal touch to the ceremony. Afterward, everyone spilled out into the plaza of City Chambers, enjoying sunshine, hugs, and shared stories against the iconic backdrop of Edinburgh’s Royal Mile.
Later the couple stole a moment just for themselves, wandering through the city, from the Saint Giles Cathedral, along the historic Royal Mile, around the vibrant colours of Victoria Street, and finishing their walk at Vennel Steps with views across Edinburgh Castle in the shine under the blue ski. It was a quiet, precious pause in an otherwise joyful and bustling day, where both of them enjoying the simple and wonderful thing og being together.
Their reception followed at St. Columba’s by the Castle space, where were welcomme by their guest sgaring laughter echoed, and their warmest wishes. It was an inmense pleasute to capture those wonderful memories, and do what we love more: capture autentic and unique stories. C&C Photos: Patricia Garrigós & Krzysztof Golebiowski
