Poetry & Romance at Comrie Croft

Updated: Nov 2

“I see you everywhere, in the stars, in the river, to me you’re everything that exists; the reality of everything.”

When the love is real is so beautiful and easy to see like poetry well written in a notebook, handwritten with all your heart leaving in every letter your character and feeling. Like in this awesome day where Rachel and Hadley celebrate their new chapter of their story with their own heart and personality.

Engagement session at Roslin Glen.

Every story has a beginning. For Rachel and Hadley, it started with their engagement session at Roslin Glen, a magical forest just outside Edinburgh. Autumn was the perfect season , the trees dressed in warm colours, the soft light wrapping them in peace and intimacy. We wanted to keep the same natural and heartfelt vibe that would later flow into their wedding at Comrie Croft. From that first session, it was clear that their story would be something truly special.

Wedding at Comrie Croft

When summer arrived, so did their long-awaited day. They chose Comrie Croft, one of the most unique barn wedding venues in Scotland, as the backdrop for their celebration.Their ceremony took place in the Courtyard, an open, relaxed space filled with flowers in copper and orange tones, creative touches, and sweet tributes to their beloved cats. Every corner reflected their personalities and their love for the little things.

Inside the Barn, long tables waited under strings of lights, decorated with poetry quotes, good wine, and laughter. It was warm, fun, and heartfelt , a day built from the heart.

A Cottagescore Wedding with tones of Disco Music

We wandered together through the forest, the waterfall, and the open meadow during sunset, taking advantage of the golden light that only Scotland can offer.

It was calm, romantic, and full of meaning , a moment for them to slow down, breathe, and just be.

Later, disco lights, music, and freshly made pizza from Delvino Wild Kitchen turned the night into a celebration full of joy and movement.

It was a beautiful story , poetic, free, and real.I’m so grateful to have been part of it, capturing every small piece of their day so they can relive it forever.

Patricia did an amazing job on our wedding and we had a another session after that in the Holyrood Park. Our pictures capture plenty of great moments. The nature in the background makes everything even more magical.
