A Romantic Bohemian Story in Scotland
E & J are dreamers, with passionate spirits and adventurous hearts. For their wedding day, they wanted to escape convention, formalities, and expectations. They imagined a celebration where they could feel relaxed, be completely themselves, and experience a day filled with romantic magic, like two characters from an old adventure story.
As they began planning how to celebrate their union, they realized that eloping was simply meant to be. A romantic getaway in Scotland felt like the perfect way to bring that dream to life. At the same time, they wanted their families to feel part of such an important moment, and photography became not only a way to preserve the memory, but also a way to share this meaningful experience with the people they love.
A Fairytale Elopement at Dalhousie Castle
They chose Dalhousie Castle, just outside Edinburgh, where the medieval atmosphere and surrounding woodland created the perfect setting for a true fairytale elopement in Scotland. The castle’s historic character and quiet corners gave the day a timeless and intimate feeling.
In one of the most magical moments of the day, an owl delivered the wedding rings, adding a unique and symbolic touch to their ceremony. Arthuril stood as a witness to their heartfelt commitment and the deep connection they share.
It was a day to celebrate their love, their story, and the beginning of a beautiful new chapter together: meaningful, intimate, and true to who they are.
Capturing such an authentic day was truly special. We are always grateful to meet genuine souls who follow their hearts.
