“And he took her in his arms and kissed her under the sunlit sky, and he cared not that they stood high upon the walls in the sight of many.”
JRR Tolkien, The return of the king.

A Celtic-Indian Fusion in the Woods
A woodland setting, two cultures intertwined, and a celebration rooted in authenticity—a modern fairytale in the heart of Scotland. F&C envisioned a wedding that felt intentional, intimate, and deeply reflective of their cultures and their love for nature.
With Irish and British-Indian heritage coming together, their day was designed as a true Celtic-Indian fusion: relaxed, joyful, and centered around connection. Their humanist ceremony took place in the woodland at Comrie Croft, surrounded by trees and spring light. An Irish handfasting ritual was woven into the ceremony alongside the exchange of rings, honoring tradition in a meaningful and understated way.
Music played an important role throughout the celebration. A harpist accompanied the ceremony and drinks reception, filling the forest with a soft, cinematic soundtrack that added depth and atmosphere to every moment, making it feel like a scene from an ethereal movie in the forest.
Fizz, Dosas and a Ceilidh to Remember
Following the ceremony, guests gathered in the woods for fizz, beer, and freshly made dosas—a vibrant and delicious tribute to Indian heritage. The celebration continued with a shared curry feast and heartfelt speeches, keeping the focus on togetherness and joy.
As evening arrived, the atmosphere shifted into a traditional Scottish ceilidh. Laughter, dancing, and live music brought everyone together on the dance floor before the night continued with a lively party in the barn.
The day unfolded under romantic Scottish spring sunshine, with golden light filtering through the trees—perfect for a quiet moment of connection between the couple, full of happiness and meaning.
It was a pleasure to capture the story of such amazing people with authentic hearts. Always grateful for their kindness, good vibes, and for choosing me for something so important.
