“I long to be with you, and by the sea, where we can be alone together.”
Bram Stoker, Dracula

A Magical Scottish Wedding at Dundas Castle
This story felt like a fairytale, where the main characters share one heart and a genuine connection.
To celebrate their love in a meaningful way, they decided to make their dreams come true with a destination wedding in Scotland, surrounded by their most beloved friends and family.
They chose Dundas Castle, an elegant and historic location in the Scottish countryside, just outside Edinburgh near the bridges of Queensferry. The imposing castle is full of character, straight out of a movie, yet welcoming and intimate, making you feel at home.
The couple prepared in separate rooms, making the most of the castle’s unique spaces. The groom enjoyed the Villar Room with the support of his friends and parents, turning waiting moments into joyful memories. The bride prepared surrounded by meaningful details, her sister, mother, and friends. As a professional makeup artist, she chose to do her own makeup, feeling authentic and confident. Her dress was a one-of-a-kind creation, handmade with love by her mother-in-law, truly a piece unique for a unique day.
Heartfelt Moments and Golden Hour Memories
Their ceremony took place in the Auld Keep, where they exchanged heartfelt vows and rings, officially uniting in front of those who mean the most to them embracing scottish traditions and memories of their family.
The celebration continued with shared laughter, joy, and autumn golden hour light, creating memories exactly as they had wished. A day filled with heartfelt details, deep feelings of gratitude, and authentic connection, surrounded by family. A low-key, relaxed, and deeply meaningful celebration. J&J are one of those rare couples who openly share their hearts, with the most intimate and personal vibe.
Capturing their love story in this romantic Scottish castle setting was truly special. Thank you for trusting us to preserve these memories for years to come.
